I first heard of 'Stock Markets' when I was a school boy and the Harshad Mehta scam broke out in the 90s. Ever since then, stock markets have always caught my fancy.
Over the years, I have been tracking their movement in India and in more recent years, have tried to co-relate how global factors affect Indian markets.
I am an investor as well as a trader. I have tried my hand in Stocks(all kinds including penny stocks), mutual funds, Margin trading, Options and so on.
I do not claim to be an expert(nobody is), on the contrary, I feel I have sometimes been really dumb with my investment decisions. I am a Business Development professional in the IT/ITES space who's travelled across the world and is just passionate about markets.
This blog is a tool for me to jot down my thoughts about the stock market and monitor it over time to see if I was on the right track.
What I write here will be a culmination of my understanding of inputs I receive from different sources. I will be glad to hear feedback on what I am writing and will be the first one to own up if I make a factual mistake.
